Look out for another concept car from Lamborghini this fall at the Frankfurt Motor Show if the latest rumors prove to be true.

Rumblings of another concept car that will continue the company’s 50th anniversary celebration are cropping up. That car will closely preview the production version of what will replace the current Gallardo.

Expected to go on sale in 2015, the car will still use the same 5.2-liter V10 engine, but tuned to about 600 hp, and will share its carbon fiber and aluminum architecture with the next Audi R8. That is expected to help the car weigh in under 3,300 lbs — the Gallardo’s curb weight. The car will share a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission with the R8, but it seems unlikely that Lamborghini will offer a manual.

According to AutoCar, which cites sources close to the company, the car will keep the same height and width but will grow slightly longer to just over 177 inches, or just over 0.6 inches compared to the current car. The wheelbase will also increase to just over 102 inches. Consequently, the cabin is expected to become more spacious.

Lamborghini is expected to incorporate design elements from the Sesto Elemento and Egoista concepts, but it’s still too early to know very much about what the car will look like.
