Aston Martin Racing Announces Two Car Pirelli World Challenge Campaign

California-based TRG-AMR North America has added two new drivers to its roster for the remainder of this year’s Pirelli World Challenge series, fielding a pair of Aston Martin Vantage GT4 race cars as full-time entrants.
Drivers Mark Klenin and Drew Regitz, both of whom have been competing in BMW s this season, have switched to Aston Martin full-time moving forward. Klenin, who had registered only four laps at Lime Rock Park in the Vantage GT4 race car, decided to switch at the Saturday race of the Lime Rock Grand Prix with a positive showing. For the remaining three races, both drivers will now have the full support of TRG-AMR and will look forward to a full-season effort next year.

Both drivers will make their debut this weekend at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course, which will host the seventh round of the Pirelli World Challenge.
“I chose TRG-AMR for its reputation,” said Mark Klenin. “They’ve always been professionally operated, and I’m excited to have a car that’s setup so it’s competitive. I’m thrilled to be working with Kevin [Buckler] and the team, Drew and I are glad we found a great organization to run with together!”
