The most researched cars in AutoGuide.com’s shopping section this week come from a variety of segments.

So far, Jeep’s new Cherokee is proving to be a hot seller. The company moved more than 10,000 units last month, accounting for a big chunk of the brand’s North American sales.

Toyota’s new Corolla was also popularly searched this week, as was Mercedes’ CLA 250. Both lie on the affordable side of their respective brand portfolios, as does the next vehicle to make this week’s list.

Maserati’s Ghibli mid-size sedan was heavily queried. The car is meant to compete against vehicles like BMW’s 5 Series and Mercedes’ E-Class.

Finally, the Mazda6 took the fifth spot. With an efficient 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine mated to either a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission.
