Chinese automaker Geely is officially certified by the FIA to supply its 2.0-liter naturally aspirated engine to the Formula 4 racing series.

This is the first time the FIA has certified an Asian automaker to supply engines to the series. Geely is entering a partnership with Narcar that will begin with the Formula 4 China race series that will begin this year. The series is composed of seven races, but Geely will also be able to supply its engines for other F4 races once the China series concludes.

Geely will join three European manufacturers in supplying race-tuned engines to the series. The mill it will offer is based on the engine it uses to power the GX7 sport-ute and Emgrand EC8 sedan.

This post is a bit racist, cuz Honda is Asian(obviously not Chinese) and they used to supply formula one engines. Do you look down on us?
