The Mercedes-Benz GLE Coupe has been spied with very little camouflage.

Almost fully exposed as the model nears production, the GLE Coupe will take on the BMW X6 as a sporty SUV and was originally previewed with the German automaker’s Concept Coupe SUV. It was originally going to be called the M-Class Coupe, but Mercedes has opted for a new naming convention for its SUV and crossover models.

The current M-Class will be called the GLE, while the current GLK will become the GLC. Expect the GLE Coupe to make its official debut in the coming months.
