Pricing for the 2016 BMW M4 GTS was announced at the 2015 L.A. Auto Show with the coupe starting from $134,200 including destination.

The 2016 BMW M4 GTS sports a 3.0-liter turbocharged six-cylinder engine with 493 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque. That’s an impressive increase from the standard BMW M4’s 425-hp output with the M4 GTS going zero to 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds. The more hardcore BMW M4 GTS benefits from water injection technology that ensures lower combustion temperatures, improving fuel economy as well as allowing the engine and turbochargers to run at a higher compression ratio.

Along with the extra performance from under the hood, BMW has outfitted the M4 GTS with a set of three-way adjustable coilovers equipped with mechanically adjustable compression and rebound settings. Up front is a pair of 19×9.5-inch wheels wrapped with 265/35/19 Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires, while the rear gets a larger and wider 20×10.5-inch pair with 285/30/20 tires.

The luxury sports coupe also tips the scales at 3,494 pounds with BMW using carbon fiber for the hood, roof and adjustable splitter underneath the front apron.

The special edition M4 GTS is limited to 700 units worldwide with around 300 heading to the U.S. market. The track-ready chassis and engine performance has helped the BMW M4 GTS lap Nurburgring in 7:28.

That is too much damn money for the M4 but performance should be a monster, at least hope it is anyway.
