The Grand Tour boys were recently spotted filming in Detroit with some highly appropriate machinery.

Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May were seen on video with a Dodge Challenger Demon, a Ford Mustang RTR and a Chevrolet Camaro Exorcist built by Texas tuning ship Hennessey Performance Engineering. We hear that Hammond was behind the wheel of the Demon, while Clarkson was piloting the Mustang. Fittingly, Captain Slow was in the most powerful of the three – the 1,000 hp Camaro.

The Grand Tour team is on the road filming for the show’s third season currently .It’s not yet clear what the Detroit-based episode may entail, but the world-famous trio were spotted driving their three muscle cars on a closed down section of a street in Detroit. It sounds like some Woodward Avenue-style street racing is in order.

Clarkson posted a few different photos from his trip to Detroit to his Instagram this week, including a photo of May in the Exorcist Camaro. Clarkson was also impressed by Detroit’s ongoing revival, which has seen a spate of trendy new restaurants pop up in the area and injected much more life into the city’s downtown core.

We’ll be eagerly awaiting the release of The Grand Tour Season 3.
