Skyjacker has been an innovator in the suspension market since 1974, and the company’s commitment to cutting-edge technology has enabled it to deliver a huge selection of products for on and off-road applications.

This year was extra special at the annual Easter Jeep Safari in Moab, Utah, as Skyjacker Suspensions was celebrating its 45th year anniversary. Skyjacker’s friends and staff had a blast on the Steel Bender ride wheeling and having fun with those in the industry they have worked with for over 25 years.

It was truly an incredible time, with third-generation family and other family members along for the fun. It was also great to see all of the rigs featuring Skyjacker products installed. Here are a few of the day’s featured products.

Skyjacker’s DUAL RATE-LONG TRAVEL systems offer the best of both worlds whether for on-road or off-road use. The first spring rate offers an exceptional highway ride and will expand when off-roading during articulation to keep the tires in contact with the ground much longer and the coils remain in the upper coil bucket even at full droop, unlike linear rate coils.

The second rate, lower coils, only engage after compression past the first rate and allows consistent control and stability during body roll and heavy off-road suspension movement. Unique left and right coil spring utilized like OE and long travel front and rear Skyjacker shocks are length-fitted to offer the maximum extension allowable for full articulation to complete this system.

Another exciting new system is the 2020 Jeep Gladiator JT Dual Rate-Long Travel system. These lift systems are engineered to offer superb highway ride quality while also giving unmatched off-road performance, control and long travel to allow you the versatility to conquer any terrain with confidence. Premium Black Max or Monotube Long Travel shock options are included in long travel systems to allow proper suspension droop and ride quality.

The best part: whether you need a lift for your new Gladiator, JL or JK (TJ and XJ available soon), Skyjacker offers Dual Rate-Long Travel systems available in several lift options and will allow clearance from 35”-40” tall tires depending on application.
