Chapman  Chevrolet, a Pennsylvania car dealership, might be trouble with the feds.

Mercedes is recalling 432 SL-Class cars because of an issue it discovered during crash testing that could lead to a fire.

If you own a 2003-04 Honda Civic or a 2004-05 Pilot, there’s a chance the head lights could fail.

Honda Accord V6 models from 2003 to 2007 are being recalled to fix a defective power steering hose that can leak fluid and catch on fire.

General Motors is issuing a recall that affects 426,240 vehicles to fix an issue where the transmission gear position may not match the gear on the shifter.

Ford is issuing a recall for its 2012 Edge SUV models for a fuel leak that could lead to a possible vehicle fire. 5,499 Edges will be recalled in the United States, while 346 are affected in Canada.

There are 17 Honda Ridgelines are being recalled for an incorrect passenger airbag status indicator. All 17 affected vehicles were built on April 18.

Yet another recall is plaguing the troubled 2013 Ford Escape crossover because of a risk that a cup plug might dislodge in 7,600 units equipped with the 1.6-liter engine.

Toyota was mostly cleared of wrongdoing in the unintended acceleration case thanks to a verdict from NHTSA. An Iowa senator however,  recently asked for the investigation to be reopened, but NHTSA is standing by the verdict.

Earlier this month, the Center for Automotive Safety (CAS) filed a petition with NHTSA regarding the Ford Escape’s unintended acceleration issue and now the safety group is calling for the American automaker to be fined.

It’s been a very bad month for the Ford Escape, in fact it’s been a terrible year with a list of damning issues coming to light, the worst of which is now leading to a recall.

Split between two vehicles from different eras with separate problems, Transport Canada is announcing recalls for the 2007-08  Hyundai Santa Fe and 2012-13 Hyundai Sonata.
