BMW Launches Online Art-Car Gallery [Video]
Everyone has seen old hippy van painted to the nines or cars with wacky paint jobs driving down the street but you’ve probably never seen cars like this.
This type of art became popular enough in the last few decades for art car shows to materialize. BMW has been involved in art cars since the mid-1970s getting Andy Warhol and Sandro Chia to paint a piece for the gallery. The first BMW art car was a 3.0-liter CSL painted by Alexander Calder in 1975. BMW canvases have included the M1, Z1, E34 and E36.
All 17 BMW art cars can be viewed here!

Toyota "Window To The World" Concept Will Blow Your Mind [Video]
Toyota is introducing a new way for kids to be distracted on road trips. And this time, instead of viewing a screen, they will look out the window—and actually interact with it.
Called “Window To The World,” aspiring toddler creatives can draw on the car window as a canvas, building off what they see outside and watch their drawings shift as the scenery changes. They can also interact with specific objects: for example, they can zoom in to something distant, plot distances to landmarks, even translate objects and landmarks into another language. At night, the panoramic roof displays constellations and star maps.
The concept was developed by Toyota of Europe and the trendy folks at the Copenhagen Institute of Interaction Design. You might not see this in a 2012 Avensis, but instead it will be at the “Our Future Mobility Now” exhibition from June 22 to 25 at the Autoworld Museum in Brussels, Belgium.
And while the entire idea may sound like a load of murky ad-agency nonsense, the video makes it all clearer. Click the jump to catch a glimpse of how our kids will finally shut up in the backseat for a change. If you’re not learning something back there, I’ll turn the car around!

Microsoft Launching Xbox 360 Wireless Speed Wheel
Microsoft is enjoying a new generation of success with the release of its Kinect add-on for the Xbox 360, but true gamers aren’t fooled by all the motion-sensing gimmickry. The thought of enjoying Forza 4 while waving your hands and arms aimlessly in the air pretending to drive a car is a little discerning, to say the least. So we’re more than a little grateful to see that Microsoft will be releasing a new Wireless Speed Wheel for those that still want to hold something in their hands while they virtually drive.

1960 Ferrari 250 California Spyder SWB 1:8 Scale Model Gets Exotic Price Tag

We’d all like to get behind the wheel of a 1960 Ferrari 250 California Spyder SWB, but let’s face it – unless a magic lamp falls out of the sky to grant us three wishes, there’s no way we could afford the real thing, and as it turns out, even a 1:8 scale replica.
Mini Unveils A Collapsible Bicycle
Mini is following in the footsteps of Audi and designing its own line of bicycles. And in the interests of smallness, the bicycles are designed to be folded—perfect for today’s clogged cities.
The Mini Folding Bicycle features a lightweight aluminum frame that collapses in a matter of seconds: the crossbar, seat, handlebars and pedals fold into each other for easy carrying from a subway to the trunk of a Countryman. The entire bicycle only weighs 24 pounds and still manages to sport 8 gears, 20-inch wheels, mud guards, a gel seat, a cute bell, and a Teflon-coated chain that won’t get your suit dirty when you inevitably get tangled while trying to fold it up.
Like most folding bicycles, it won’t be cheap at 500 Euros (approximately $729), but it’s still cheaper than getting your Mini Cooper impounded for the 3rd time in a row from a tow zone.
Look for it available online and at select Mini dealerships in August this year. And if you can’t wait that long, click the jump for the press release and specifications.

Coming Soon to a Tire Near You: Diamonds!
Impress your neighbors! Increase your resale value! Blind oncoming motorists! Diamonds for your tires: a perfect complement to your Cadillac’s $250,000 Asanti wheels—because let’s face it, there’s no other choice when it comes to decking out your car with enough diamonds to make Glen Campbell feel underappreciated.
Don’t page Weezy just yet, however: these tires aren’t for sale. They were created by Cooper Tires to commemorate the 60th anniversary of Cooper and their Formula 3 sponsorship. 60th anniversary, diamond anniversary, get it? The diamonds and Swarovski crystals cover the four “COOPER” logos, and were installed on a Formula 3 racer with lots of Super Glue.
Color us unimpressed, however. We’ll be paying attention when the entire tire is made from diamonds. That’s right, crush your own gravel as you drive! Makes a great engagement present! Click the jump for the full video and how it’s made.
