The excitement is starting to build leading up to the launch of the new Chevy Corvette, and now, players of the Playstation game Gran Turismo 5 are being offered an opportunity to be the first to get behind the wheel of the car, in virtual form of course.

A camouflaged Corvette C7 prototype will be available for gamers to download at no extra charge. The car has been designed to replicate the real-world driving experience that the new Corvette will offer.

A collaboration between Chevrolet and Polyphony Digital Inc made this prototype download possible, and every small detail was given attention, including the folds in the camo, the headlight design, and the driving characteristics of the car.

When the real Corvette arrives, it will do so with Chevy’s new small-block V8 that will make around 450 hp and 450 lb-ft of torque.
