To celebrate the Millionth Mazda MX-5 Miata’s epic 18-stop tour, AutoGuide recently held our #MX5Movement photo contest on Instagram and after hundreds of incredible entries, the winner was Roddy Merritt from Jackson, Mississippi.
While he couldn’t have been more excited when we flew him to Monterey, California for the annual Miatas at Mazda Raceway event, what he didn’t know is that we had a big surprise in store for him. When he got there we presented Roddy with the keys to a shiny new 2016 Mazda MX-5 Miata to use for the weekend and fulfill a bucket list experience: driving on the world-famous Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca race track!
