Carroll Shelby to Be Remembered by Memorial Road Trip
A memorial road trip remembering Carroll Shelby will kick off on August 13 in Boulder, Colo. remembering the man and celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Cobra sports car he created.
The tour will make several stops including the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance on August 19 before concluding on September 8 back in Boulder featuring cars from both the Shelby American Collection and the Miller Motorsport Family.
Shelby passed on May 10 to the dismay of auto enthusiasts worldwide. Since his death, there have been several memorial events including a public memorial service. When it runs from August 17 through 19, the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion will also remember Shelby’s work.
