Hyundai’s new hybrid has been spotted testing once again, this time without any heavy camouflage.

The body lines are clearly visible in this new set of photos, showing off the sloping roofline and design that is reminiscent of the new Chevy Volt.

Production of the Hyundai hybrid, which will share its platform with the next-generation Elantra, is slated to begin in the second half of 2016. The five-door hatchback body seen in the photos will be initially offered, though a smaller and larger variant are expected to arrive later to fight Toyota’s Prius lineup.

A 1.6-liter gas engine hooked up to a parallel hybrid system is expected to provide power to the car, while a plug-in hybrid version is expected to eventually join the lineup.

Interestingly, the Hyundai hybrid was photographed testing with a group of all-electric vehicles rather than other hybrids, including the BMW i3, Nissan Leaf, VW e-Golf, and Kia Soul EV.
