2018 North American Car, Utility and Truck of the Year Awards Finalists Announced
Finalists for the 2018 North American Car, Utility and Truck of the Year (NACTOY) Awards were announced at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
Three vehicles in each category made it to the last round of voting, hand selected by more than 60 jurors from the United States and Canada, including AutoGuide.com‘s editor-in-chief, Jodi Lai. These nine vehicles represent the best new products coming to market for the 2018 model year.

Finalists for North American Car of the Year award include the new Honda Accord sedan, Kia’s exciting Stinger and the completely redesigned Toyota Camry.
The cream of the utility vehicle crop for 2018 includes the driver-focused Alfa Romeo Stelvio and Honda’s versatile Odyssey minivan. Not to be forgotten, the fresh-faced Volvo XC60 went the distance as well.
As for trucks, the off-road-focused Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 won jurors over with its rugged charm, as did the totally overhauled Ford Expedition and its kissing cousin, the more upscale Lincoln Navigator.
This is 24th year NACTOY awards have been handed out. Winners in each category will be announced at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Stay tuned for more information on this story when that news breaks in January.
